Each Unique Feeder fertilizer packet contains water soluble fertilizer with a guaranteed analysis of 16-8-16...
Packets are scientifically designed with precisely measured micropore holes. When the unopened packet is placed in the soil, water vapor enters the holes and slowly dissolves the fertilizer. The nutrients escape gradually, in small amounts, feeding the roots. Fertilizer is released only during the growing season. In Winter, the soil is cold, and amount of water vapor is very low, so the packet practically stops releasing the fertilizer. In warm weather moisture vapor increases and the fertilization rate increases. This means that peak fertilization will occur in Summer when plants's growth and nutrient demand are highest. Because of the time release system, allow 4 to 6 weeks for the packet to be activated.
