Specification Sheet
The following is a specification sheet indicating the proper use of Unique Feeder Fertilizer Packets. Reference is being made to a 4 ounce 8-year controlled release fertilizer packet.
Fertlizing Plants: All plants shall be fertilized with a controlled release 16-8-16 analysis fertlizer contained in polyethlene perforated bags with micropore holes. The bag shall contain 4 ounces minimum of water soluble fertilizer to be effective for 8 years. The packets shall be placed equidistantly within the planting pit adjacent to the ball or root mass but not in direct contact with roots. Placement depth shall be 6 yo 8 inches. Packets shall not be cut, ripped or damaged. If it becomes necessary to remove and replace dead or unhealthy plants, damaged or broken packets shall be replaced with new ones.
Rate of application shall be as follows:
NORMAL RECOMMENDED USAGE: One packet per caliber inch placed equidistantly.
CAUTION:Unique Feeder Packets are not to be opened and emptied into the soil. This will destroy the effectiveness of the product and might inure the roots through burning.
A manufacturer's certificate of compliance issued by the manufacturer only, must accompany contractor's invoice showing quantity of material ordered, where material was supplied and shipped to and its consigned route and specific job application.
